In 2024, I helped create and launch a feature we called the Program Board which aligns to the concept of PI Planning in SAFe methodolgy, and is designed to help planners organize work for the mid-term future (approx. a quarter).
To create the documentation, I:
- identified and prioritized information to include based on our audience
- researched specific functionalities and limitations with the team (developers)
- wrote, proofed, and sparred the content
- uploaded it into our content management system and formatted it to meet our content standards
The output of this work is documentation that describes what the product is, how it works, and specific functionalities planners would find helpful. It does so by being easy to read and accessible to a wide audience:
- Flesch-Kincaid scores ranging between 63 and 73 meaning means the content is accessible to those who read at approximately a 7th grade level
- an average 55% helpfulness score over the past six months based on user feedback
